Hanes Woolf plot

The Hanes-Woolf equation is derived by taking the reciprocal of both sides of Eqn [2.1] and multiplying each by [A]0 and then rearranging terms to give:

Thus, for a Michaelis-Menten enzyme reaction, a plot of the data pairs ([A]0i, [A] 0,i/v0,i) gives a straight line with a slope whose value is 1/Vma- and an abscissa intercept that is -Km.
