■ This is an important issue
- No matter how good the AT team or how advanced our technology, if patients with impairment who require our help do not know about the service or the service is unavailable to patients who do not live in the city but in less accessible areas, this will defeat our purpose
- Hence the importance of continuous quality evaluation projects to ensure easy booking, referral and ready accessibility of our AT service. One such continuous quality improvement project is under way in the US in Massachusetts, other AT centres should follow this good example in the author's view
