Medical Treatment

Medical treatment consists of:

• Cycloplegics/mydriatics to reduce pain and the risk of the posterior synechia formation

• Topical corticosteroids to reduce the inflammation

• Topical and/or oral8 aminocaproic acid to reduce the risk of rebleeding [10]

• TPA, an fibrinolytic agent (10 |ig injected intracamerally)

• Oral antifibrinolytic therapy (tranexamic acid 25 mg/kg 3x daily for 6 days) [13]

• Antiglaucoma treatment as necessary
