Time

It is inadvisable to act on the results of a single trial because of issues of power, biases, generalizability, and the possibility of chance erroneous results. There is, however, also the issue of time. Clinicians may often prefer to read the results of a single review rather than spending time assimilating information from several similar trials. Most practitioners have very little time to keep up with research relevant to their practice.
