What is clear is that not only are there substantially increased rates of antisocial acts, but that the general psychosocial functioning of children with conduct disorder when grown up is strikingly poor. For most of the characteristics shown in Table.2, the increase compared with controls is at least double for community cases who were never referred, and three to four times for referred children.
