Acquired Childhood: Transient erythroblastopenia of childhood (TEC)

Adults: Primary: autoimmune or idiopathic

Secondary chronic: thymoma, haematological malignancies especially CLL, pernicious anaemia, some solid tumours, SLE, RA, malnutrition with riboflavin deficiency
