Genome Comparisons of Gastric and Enterohepatic Helicobacter Species with Related Bacteria

The two bacterial species most closely related to the Helicobacter species whose genome sequences are known are the human diarrheal pathogen Campylobacter jejuni [6] and a commensal anaerobic bacterium isolated from the rumen of cattle, Wolinella succinogenes [7].
