Etymology: Carrier (Na-Dené), "little people." Variant names: Etna-na-yaz, Kannawdzets. Physical description: Height, 1-3 feet. Long hair.
Behavior: Fast runner. Wears a robe in the winter. Uses stones as weapons.
Distribution: François Lake and Nechako River area, central British Columbia.
Present status: Killed off by the Indians long ag°.
