Clinical grading of disability

Several methods of staging disability in myasthenia gravis have been used in the past. The best known is that of O§S®[m§n...laDd...lGenkiDS..lí19Z1) which divides myasthenics into four classes (Table..!). More useful clinical scoring systems have been devised based on the patient's ability to perform a few simple tasks ( Besinger etal 1983) (Table.?). These are clinically relevant as they reflect the response to treatment.
