There are three main clinical presentations in lateral luxation (in the absence of other damage) and the clinical management of each type is considered separately:
- Fif;. Laterally luxated 12. 1 1. The crowns of these teeth are firmly locked in a palatal position and are in reverse overjet with the lower teeth.
- Fig. 6.6 Schematic representation of intrusive luxation. The periodontal ligament space is lost (4) and there is malalignment relative to the adjacent teeth (1, 2). Pulp necrosis (3) is expected in all mature teef.h and at least 60% of immature teeth.
