Treatment sheet

The final action of the treatment planning process is to produce a treatment sheet that provides a set of instructions to allow the treatment radiographer to set up the patient as planned and to deliver the correct dose distribution, including the number of monitor units to be applied to each beam. Accuracy has to be assured by a set of checks at all stages of the planning process, and these should form part of a quality assurance system, such as ISO 9002, with fully documented procedures and work instructions.
